Established in 2026, this scholarship honors the compassion and nurturing spirit of Mother Julia Riley by supporting graduating high school seniors committed to careers in social services.

Eligibility Requirements
- Graduating high school senior.
- Planning to enroll in a college, university, or vocational program for social work, human services, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Demonstrated commitment to helping others through service, advocacy, or leadership.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 (Optional).
Application Requirements
- Completed application form.
- High school transcript.
- Proof of college acceptance (if available).
- One letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, mentor, or community leader.
- A 500–700 word essay responding to the prompt: Explain how you plan to use your education to make a difference in the lives of others.
Selection Criteria
Recipients will be selected based on their passion for social services, community involvement, leadership, integrity, and the quality of their essay.
Deadlines and Submission
- Application Deadline: April 30, 2026.
- Award Announcement: The recipient will be notified by August 30, 2026.
- Submission: Please submit all materials to Making A Difference Foundation.
