Making A Difference Foundation (MADF) supports a network of local BIPOC farmers, producers, and others who provide fresh, healthy, and culturally appropriate food to MADF’s clients at Eloise’s Cooking Pot Food Bank, as well through our home delivery program and hunger relief partners.

Our farmers and producers are passionate about growing and raising the best food possible, caring for the land, and feeding their neighbors.

Additionally, they face significant challenges with everyday operating costs, marketing, accounting, labor shortages (particularly skilled labor), finding new markets and buyers, affording essential equipment, machinery, and packaging supplies, as well as accessing water and land.

The pandemic, and resulting supply chain shortages, pushed the costs of all farm inputs, including animal feed and fuel, even higher while also limiting the labor pool and ability of farmers to deliver their products.

Now more than ever, it is important to have access to healthy, fresh, local foods that families would normally eat.

MADF is honored to help our local farmers and producers in any way we can, so they can focus on doing what they do best – feeding our communities.

Based on farmer-reported barriers to self-sufficiency, we have launched a Technical Assistance program to strengthen our hunger relief network.

MADF’s goal is to move our BIPOC farmers, producers, and other hunger relief partners from surviving to thriving over the next year, as we strengthen their financial stability and our relationships. The Technical Assistance Request Form below includes a text box to describe how we can help. The “Other” option allows us to design future trainings based on demand.
