New equipment will enhance operational efficiency and reporting capabilities for better service to those in need.
Tacoma, WA – Making A Difference Foundation (MADF) is pleased to announce the recent receipt of a $15,000 grant from Workforce Central to purchase much-needed technology upgrades, including ten desktop computers with peripherals, six printers, and one copier. These new resources will replace outdated equipment and support MADF’s continued growth and service to the community.
This technology upgrade will enhance the organization’s ability to serve the 70,000 individuals who rely on its food bank services each month, where 1.5 million pounds of food are distributed. Improved reporting and data management capabilities will allow MADF to better meet the needs of its clients while providing more comprehensive updates to funders, potentially increasing financial support to help grow its services even further.
“We are incredibly grateful for this grant from Workforce Central, which comes at a critical time for our organization,” said Ahndrea Blue, President/CEO of Making A Difference Foundation. “The new computers, printers, and copier will allow us to work more efficiently, streamline our reporting, and ultimately better serve the community. This is a major step forward in helping us continue our mission of fighting food insecurity and supporting those most in need.”
The new technology will help the organization provide real-time, accurate data to funders and stakeholders, improving transparency and enabling stronger partnerships in the future. With the grant’s support, MADF looks forward to continuing its work in helping vulnerable populations access food, education, and essential resources.
